We are thrilled to announce a major achievement that marks a new chapter in our history: our involvement in seven new European projects. These include three Horizon Europe initiatives, one IHI (Innovative Health Initiative) project, one ESF (European Social Fund) project, and two Erasmus+ projects. For Social IT, securing seven projects in just one year is a huge achievement, underscoring our company’s dedication to technological innovation and social progress in the ICT sector. This success strengthens our international presence and allows us to actively contribute to European objectives in technology and society.
Tackling social and technological challenges
These projects stand out for their innovative approaches to complex issues: from leveraging advanced digital tools to enhance healthcare models and cardiovascular prevention, to fostering resilient technologies for cities and, last but not least, developing inclusive solutions for neurodivergent individuals, too.
Within these initiatives, we play diverse and strategic roles, such as: technical partner, project manager, and dissemination and communication leader. Through these contributions, we drive the development of cutting-edge technological solutions that support digital transformation and address pressing social challenges.
Strategic growth for our region and team
The projects come with a total budget of nearly €2 million, a significant boost for both our company and our local community. These funds will enable us to strengthen internal expertise, hire qualified experts, expand technological know-how, and further extend our international network of partners. This gives us the chance to tackle new challenges and solidify our role as a strategic partner in Europe’s technological innovation landscape.
Since our first Horizon 2020 project in 2015, we have reached a total of 19 projects. This journey allowed us to build a great portfolio of international collaborations and refine specific expertise in managing large-scale research and innovation projects. These new initiatives reaffirm our ability to successfully face future challenges and actively engage with European digital and social policies.
